SanDisk 512MB TransFlash microSD Card

I got this 512MB flash card to go with my Motorola RAZR V3i. I bought mine at Wal*Mart where to be honest it's $3 cheaper, but it will probably get cheaper on Amazon in short order. It comes with a SD adapter so you can plug it into a normal SD slot, which is pretty useful because a lot of MicroSD/Transflash devices, like my RAZR, have a "full-speed" (11Mbps) USB interface. Most laptops seem to come with flash readers today, so this is definitely a very nice feature when loading albums onto a phone or similar.

There's really not much to say about it compared to other flash memory devices I've used in the past, so I went ahead and gave it an average rating. It works, the adapter works, it has a lifetime warranty. What more do you want, or need?

If shopping for such devices, make sure to check into the maximum storage capacity of your device. The RAZR V3i, for example, supports only up to a 1GB card, although 2GB MicroSD cards are available. And one last thing - don't sneeze while you're holding the card. You might lose it and never find it again. I dropped mine once, and I almost lost it in the carpet. You will be tempted to take it out of your phone (or whatever) frequently to show off how small it is; don't. Just point to it, and look smug.
