Butanol is an alternative/bio-fuel which can be produced from any organic material by bacteria in the "ABE" process, which produces Acetone, Butanol, and Ethanol - ingredients in TNT. All three can be burned in a common gasoline engine and butanol is a direct 1:1 replacement for gas.
