  • Celebrating the ten dollar microscope

I'm gonna start by admitting that the title is hyperbole, because I paid $11.63 and the price is now $15.74, but if you are trying to get a better view of stuff I can heartily recommend buying a cheap USB microscope.

I've been using it to do more accurate calibrations for 3d printing, and I decided I liked octo's stand plus HAL9000's table. I have assortments of screws around, so requiring hardware is not a problem for me. This has turned out to be invaluable for evaluating flow rate samples and pressure advance patterns. They were really just way too squinty without help. This device works with the UVC driver, so it's just plug in and go.

I printed the base and knobs in JAYO transparent PETG, and the black parts in Overture PLA Pro.
